Dr. Judy Oloo
Admitted in 2012, Dr. Oloo is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She is also the CEO of the East African Centre for Human Rights (EACH Rights) a regional Non-Governmental Organization that seeks to initiate and undertake programmes that promote, protect, and enhance Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights (ECOSOC Rights) in the region.
As a lecturer, she headed the Department of Private Law at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). Presently, she lectures and directs the Department of Public Law at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). She has published several articles on various human rights and humanitarian law concerns.
She graduated with Bachelors of Academic Law (BAL) Degree in 2005, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree in 2007 and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2009 from the University of Mysore, India. She pursued her Doctorate (PhD in Laws) at the St. Augustine University of Tanzania, majoring in International Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law and graduated in 2017.
